May 13 10:00 A The Politics of Motherhood Rev. Krista Taves From the uproar caused by the Komen Foundation decision to cut Planned Parenthood's funding, to proposed legislation around the country that would deny access to contraception and reproductive services, the politics of motherhood are alive, but maybe not so well. May 20 10:00 A The Devine Seed in All. Rev. Krista Taves. Annual Flower Communion. We hold up the legacy of Unitarian Minister Nobert Capek who died a martyr for our liberal religious tradition during Nazi occupation of Czechoslovakia. His theology and this communion he created transformed Unitarian Universalism. The heart of the ritual is the exchange of flowers freely given and freely received. Please bring flowers to share. Special Music and Pianist: Todd Painter.
