Adult Religious Education Curriculum

Sermon Writing 101

This three session class will introduce people to the basics of preaching, including what a sermon is and how to find your voice in the pulpit. All participants in the series are given the ability to preach a service at Emerson! First session is Saturday, September 11, 2010 from 9:00 AM to noon at the Chapel. RSVP is required, but anyone age 16+ may attend. Send RSVP to worship (if your computer can't read the email, this is worship AT emersonuuchapel DOT org.)

Unitarian Universalist Wings

The perfect class for those who are wishing to deepen their sense of spirituality, or connectedness within Emerson Chapel. The perfect next step for those who have completed the Roots curriculum, or recently become a part of the Emerson community. The class meets monthly, on third Wednesdays September through May from 7-9 PM, and offers participants the opportunity to explore more deeply Unitarian Universalism and their own expressions and experiences of spirituality. There is no registration limit. All are welcome. You may begin attending the class at any time through the year.
