10th Annual Elizabethan Evenings

.........a.k.a. Madrigal Dinner

Travel back in tyme wythe us, in Spyrite & Fancye, to be royally feasted, and entertained in Elizabethan style. Join us at Emerson Castle for an evening of merriment featuring:

  • Ye Singers Greenleaf
  • Ye Royale Musicians, Fools and Players
  • Exotic Dancers from foreign lands
  • A Royale Masque in which Thou mayest star
  • A veritable 4-course feaste in grande Elizabethan style

Emerson Castle will be royally decorated with greenery, banners and flickering candlelight. Tickets are on sale NOW:

Friday night $35/per person, or $270/table of eight; Saturday $40/per person, or $300/table of eight. Tables of 10 are also available.

Enjoy beautiful viands, prepared in the Elizabethan Style, served by comely wenches and sturdy lads. There are also wyne stewards to keep thye glasses filled.

All seats shall be reserved on a first-come, first-paid basis. Ye reservations will be held for three days without payment. Mail thye form with thye cheque, or send an email request (if ye ol' computer is unable to read this, it is Madrigal at EmersonUUChapel dot org).

To assure seats for all at thye table on the day of thye choice, pray inscribe thye hand legibly with thye name, and the names of thy guests. Playce cards will be made and suitably placed at the Queen's Guests Tables. Forsuth!

Every year in early December, these Elizabethan Evenings take place guaranteed to puttest thee and thine in the holiday spirite. This magical evening of community supporteth one of ye largest fundraisers annually for the coffers of ye Castle Emerson. Most of the Emerson serfdom assisteth in some way (set-up, clean-up, serving, cooking, etc.) Ladye of Castle Emerson, Camille Herman, directh this event.
