Our Outreach and Ministry in our World

Living Our Faith through Sharing Love: Each month we split our collection plate 50-50 with an outreach partner. Our outreach partner this month is Lift for Life, which is a nonprofit supporting healthy living choices for youth in St. Louis. And, remember, every month we accept contributions for a local food pantry, Circle of Concern in the wheelbarrow in the Vestibule. In February, let's warm up mornings with breakfast items, and warm up those mornings with hot cereals, to place in the wheelbarrow. And, remember, every Circle of Concern grocery bag to a needy family includes peanut butter and jelly, so these two items are always appreciated. Leave your contributions in the wheelbarrow in our Vestibule. Please be generous as we Live Our Faith and Values and Minister to the World through our outreach partners. See our other partners in the left column.

Living Our Faith: Planning for Next Month Our outreach partner next month is Missourians Against the Death Penalty a Missouri nonprofit working to abolish the death penalty in this state. And, every month we accept contributions for a local food pantry in the wheelbarrow in the Vestibule; next month, we will be continuing warming up mornings with breakfast items AND adding those important lunch items to our wheelbarrow. Please bring oatmeal, cream of wheat, etc. AND cans of soup, spaghetti-o's, etc.

The Seven Principles of Unitarian Universalism

    We, the member congregations of the Unitarian Universalist Association, covenant to affirm and promote:
  1. The inherent worth and dignity of every person;
  2. Justice, equity and compassion in human relations;
  3. Acceptance of one another and encouragement to spiritual growth in our congregations;
  4. A free and responsible search for truth and meaning;
  5. The right of conscience and the use of the democratic process within our congregations and in society at large;
  6. The goal of world community with peace, liberty, and justice for all;
  7. Respect for the interdependent web of all existence of which we are a part.
