Serve Emerson Chapel

Unitarian Universalism is a tradition rooted in the practice of "transforming ourselves, our community, and our world." In this spirit, we have opportunities to transform ourselves through service to congregational life at Emerson Chapel.

Teaching Religious Education - Emerson Chapel has a strong tradition of creating meaningful opportunities for all age groups to grow spiritually through participation in religious education class and events. These religious education classes and events, however, rely largely on volunteers, who might serve on the Children's Religious Education team, the Adult Religious Education team, or simply help teach or prepare for individual classes.

Worship Team - As a lay-led congregation, Emerson Chapel relies on our members to organize and lead regular Sunday services. There are many roles you can play to help with worship, from acting as liturgist or worship leader, to assisting with greeting visitors or hospitality after the service.
