Summer Services, which occur typically all of June and July, are a bit more causual. While a routine order of service is followed and while we do have hymns, we do not have a sermon, focusing instead on discussion around a reading (Summer2010). People are welcome to participate, or just listen, in the ways that feel most comfortable to you. Our minister is on study break and vacation during these two months of summer (June and July). Our summer services are "lay lead" often by members and friends of Emerson. We still maintain many of the parts (rituals) of our normal service. Return to SundayServices.
